CHICAGO - The Houston Astros swapped out right-handed relievers before Sunday's series finale against the White Sox, recalling Miguel Ullola from Triple-A Sugar Land and optioning Kai-Wei Teng.
Teng pitched two innings in Friday's series opener at Rate Field, his second outing since being reinstated from the injured list. He allowed two runs in those 4 ⅓ innings with two walks and four hit batsmen.
Ullola last pitched Tuesday at Triple-A. It is the second call-up for Ullola, who debuted June 29 and threw four scoreless innings in his first stint with Houston.
"We needed to have some fresh arms up here and he's one of those guys that has been fresh, throwing the ball really well," manager Joe Espada said. "Want to get Teng down there (to) work…
