Devey’s wife, Linsey, shared the news on social media .
Born in American Fork, Utah, Devey did not play football in high school but instead was an avid tuba player as well as a member of the Cavemen’s basketball team. After serving a two-year mission in Costa Rica, he enrolled at Snow College in 2009 and two years later transferred to Memphis.
Devey went on to go unselected in the 2013 NFL Draft, but he found a temporary home with the Ravens. After the Ravens let him go that same summer, the Patriots picked him up through their practice squad. He found his was to…
