He was 38 years old.
According to a GoFundMe set up by his family, Devey "took his own life.”
“Today would have been our 15th year anniversary,” Devey’s wife, Linsey, wrote in a post on Instagram . “We have filled the walls of our homes and hearts with countless memories, joys, struggles, and triumphs.
