The federal government has reaffirmed its commitment to transforming the Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) into a premier institution for specialised military and civilian capacity building, with renewed efforts aimed at strengthening the nation's human capital and enhancing the Armed Forces' capacity to tackle evolving security challenges.
The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), gave the assurance while receiving the University's Governing Council at the Ministry's Headquarters in Abuja, where he pledged sustained strategic support for the institution.
General Musa emphasised that NAUB occupies a critical position in developing the technical and operational expertise required to confront increasingly complex contemporary security threats.
