The University of Arizona has been one of the more prominent basketball schools for decades. It reached the NCAA Tournament an amazing 25 straight years from 1985 to 2009, and it reached the Final Four this past season.
Lute Olson, who coached them from 1983 to 2007, had a big hand in the Wildcats becoming a powerhouse. Over the years, the school has produced plenty of men who went on to be successful in the NBA, including Gilbert Arenas, Richard Jefferson, Mike Bibby, Lauri Markkanen and Steve Kerr.
One Wildcats product was also drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers -- Luke Walton. Here is a look at him.
Luke Walton -- forward Walton, the son of Hall of Fame center Bill Walton, grew up in San Diego and then headed east to play for Olson at the University of Arizona. He was selected by the Lakers in the second round of the 2003 NBA Draft with the No. 32 pick.
