The Miami Dolphins are set to enter training camp with six running backs, as De'Von Achane, Ollie Gordon II, Jaylen Wright, Donovan Edwards, Carlos Washington Jr. and Anthony Hankerson will be fighting for roles over the next month.
Before the practice sessions start, the Dolphins hosted a group of players for a workout on Tuesday, including running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
Edwards-Helaire, 27, played at LSU from 2017-19, earning All-SEC honors and winning a national championship in his final season. That showing was good enough for the Kansas City Chiefs to take him in the first round (No. 32 overall) of the 2020 NFL draft.
In six seasons in the league between the Chiefs and New Orleans Saints , he's rushed for 1,904 yards and 12 touchdowns on 4.1 yards per attempt and caught 94 passes for 798 yards and seven scores. He also helped Kansas City win two Super…
