🚨 Chelsea banned from signing for two windows... suspended! Chelsea has been handed a two-window transfer ban, suspended, along with a £10 million fine imposed by the Football Association (FA).
The London club admitted to 74 breaches of regulations governing player agents, intermediaries, and third-party investments.
These failings relate to actions dating back to the club’s previous ownership. They were reported by Chelsea’s new owners after the takeover of the club in 2022.
Initially, an independent commission had imposed a six-point deduction, suspended until June 30, 2027, in addition to the fine. Chelsea, however, won its appeal: the points deduction was overturned and replaced with a two-window transfer ban, also suspended until June 30, 2027.
In practical terms, Chelsea will be able to continue signing players as normal while the suspension remains in effect until June 2027.…
