Chelsea avoid points deduction but are fined and given suspended transfer ban for rule breaches Chelsea have been given a fine of £10 million and a suspended two-window new player registration ban by the Football Association (FA).
It follows the club being charged with 74 breaches of the Football Agent Regulations, Regulations on Working with Intermediaries and Third Party Investment in Players Regulations.
The current Chelsea ownership self-reported the misconduct, which happened under the previous ownership, upon its purchase of the club.
An independent regulatory commission had imposed a six-point deduction on the club, which was to be suspended until 30 June 2027, but Chelsea appealed against the suspended points deduction and it was then changed to a suspended transfer ban instead.
That ban will not come into effect unless Chelsea are found to commit similar breaches between…
