The Arizona Cardinals and their fans have high hopes for rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, the third overall pick in the draft this year. Many believed he was the best player in the draft.
Based on new Madden 27 ratings, that seems to be the consensus.
Love is tied for the highest overall rating among rookies in the new Madden NFL 27 video game, an 82. The other rookie with an 82 is Dallas Cowboys rookie safety Caleb Downs.
Love has a 94 speed rating, a 92 agility rating and a 94 change of direction rating. He should be pretty productive in the game.
Only four rookies in the game have at least an 80 overall rating. In addition to Love and Downs, who are at 82, New York Jets EDGE David Bailey, who was the No. 2 overall pick, is an 81, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers EDGE Rueben Bain, selected 15th overall, has an overall 80 rating.
