Tuesday was reporting day for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the team descended on Saint Vincent College for training camp. Even though there weren't any practices there is still plenty to talk about. The Steelers have a legend of a new head coach with Mike McCarthy and you can tell my listening to him that this is his dream job and if this team doesn't succeed in 2026, it won't be because of a lack of effort on his part.
Here are our four big takeaways from the day.
Joey Porter Jr. isn't really hurt There's no way a guy headed into a holdout is suddenly injury from the first day of conditioning. I firmly believe this is just a way to buy time while the two sides work on a contract extension.
Aaron Rodgers isn't coming back Once again, quarterback Aaron Rodgers made it crystal clear there is zero chance that he will come back after this season.
