Photo by Maddie Malhotra/Getty Images The Golden State Warriors could have made a move to acquire Jaylen Brown but chose not to do so. An NBA insider recently revealed the reason.
Despite his stellar individual performance in the 2025-26 NBA season, Jaylen Brown was traded by the Boston Celtics to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Brown was Finals MVP in 2024, but was constantly in trade rumors despite all his success in Boston. The fact that he was sent to the rival Sixers is surprising, to say the least.
However, before that move, the Golden State Warriors had been credited with considering a deal to acquire the two-way star. However, they chose not to and now we may know why.
