The New York Jets are a few practices into their 2026 training camp. The sessions have provided head coach Aaron Glenn with an opportunity to grow his new-look defense . Glenn took more control over the defense this offseason after appointing Brian Duker as the new defensive coordinator.
Speaking with reporters at the podium at Wednesday's practice, Coach Glenn expressed excitement over the new defense. Remember the Jets finished 31st in points allowed and made both schematic and personnel changes this offseason .
The Jets will look significantly different on defense in 2026.
"When there's an issue on defense, I can quickly fix it," Glenn said in response to a question about the new-look unit. "I know the defense like the back of my hand. And that feels really, really good."
