🎥 What on earth? Work at Vila Belmiro with under 2h to kick-off The controversial project to expand the capacity of the section reserved for organized supporter groups at Vila Belmiro has gained a new "chapter."
Santos was carrying out repairs in the section a little over an hour before the match against Chapecoense, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. (Brasília time) this Saturday (25).

The railings (guardrails) installed in the Cosmo Damião stand had to be removed — possibly at the request of the Military Police.
And the cleaning after that intervention was still taking place with 35 minutes left before kickoff.
That section does not have full capacity for this match precisely because of the expansion work.
Only the sides of the Cosmo Damião stand are being used, with a maximum capacity of 1,430 people.
