The Yankees go for a three-game sweep in Philadelphia on Sunday night as they wrap up their weekend series with the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.
After taking the first two games with low-scoring victories of 1-0 on Friday night, and 3-1 on Saturday, the Yankees will try to make it three straight in Philly on Sunday.
And while the weekend has already been a success for the Yankees, they're now dealing with injury news to one of their biggest stars as Cody Bellinger was placed on the IL on Sunday with a hamstring strain.
How did Cody Bellinger get hurt? The Yankees' All-Star, who won the 2026 All-Star Game MVP Award in Philadelphia earlier this month, said he felt tightness in his left hamstring after legging out a double during Saturday's win.
