The Golden State Warriors wanted LeBron James.
And for fans of the game of basketball, it would've been fascinating to watch the King team up with Steph Curry and Draymond Green in the twilights of all of their careers.
In the end, though, the Warriors didn't get James.
On Friday, he chose the Philadelphia 76ers over the Warriors, Heat , Cavaliers and Timberwolves .
And while the reasons across the board were different, it was pretty clear in the end why he didn't want the Warriors.
