President of the United States, Donald Trump, has indicated that he is nearing a decision regarding the potential initiation of “a massive attack” against Iran, which would surpass the scale of previous strikes observed during the ongoing conflict with Tehran.
Speaking to the Axios news site, the US president said, “I am considering a massive attack. Bigger than ever before. I am close to making a decision. We are all set for it.”
Trump's comments were made on Thursday, coinciding with a rise in oil prices that once again exceeded the symbolic threshold of $100 per barrel for Brent crude, the international standard, with indications that prices may continue to escalate.
