Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie says the players have put behind them the defeat to Malawi, and are firmly focused on the game the Copper Queens of Zambia.
The defending champions suffered a shocking 3-2 loss to the debutants in their opening Group B encounter at the Al Madina Stadium, Rabat on Tuesday night.
Justine Madugu's side must now win their next game against Zambia to avoid an early elimination.
Nnadozie said the players are in positive mood ahead of Saturday's crunch encounter.
“The feeling is good, everybody is happy. The past is in the past. We are focus on the next game. The spirit is very high, and we will fight get maximum points,” Nnadozie told a press conference.
“I just feel like it is necessary to help the fans know that what happened was not intentional. This is football, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
