Harrison Ingram became an unrestricted free agent when the San Antonio Spurs withdrew his qualifying offer earlier this month.
Eleven days later, the Utah Jazz gave him another opportunity.
Utah announced Saturday that it signed the 23-year-old forward, although the organization did not disclose the terms of the agreement.
Given the aspirations that now exist in Salt Lake City, why exactly would the Jazz target a player who appeared in only 12 NBA games during his first two professional seasons?
Ingram's production outside of San Antonio is the answer.
The No. 48 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft spent most of his two seasons with the Austin Spurs, averaging 14.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.3 steals across 88 G League appearances.
His second season was especially impressive.
Ingram averaged 16.8 points, 12.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists across 32 appearances in 2025-26…
