North Carolina’s pursuit of pitching depth continued Sunday when Walters State Community College right-hander Major Osbolt announced his commitment to the Diamond Heels via social media.
Osbolt will make the move from Morristown, Tennessee, to Chapel Hill after completing a productive redshirt freshman season at one of the nation’s most prominent junior college baseball programs. The Johnson City, Tennessee native stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 195 pounds after previously starring at Science Hill High School.
