Another League of Ireland talent is making the move into Europe as Eanna Clancy has joined VVV-Venlo from UCD.
Clancy, 22, is originally from Leitrim and plays at centre-back for the students in the League of Ireland First Division. He's played over 100 games of senior football and has attracted interest from several Premier Division sides.
However, after completing his commerce degree, Clancy has made the noble move of taking his talents onto the continent, joining Dutch side VVV-Venlo. The Eerste Divisie side are based in Limburg, about an hour from Eindhoven in the south of the country.

They are currently in the second division and have one Dutch Cup to their name. The likes of Keisuke Honda and Curaçao boss Dick Advocaat have lined out for the club.
