A piece of good news on the injury front for the Green Bay Packers to start training camp: right tackle Zach Tom and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt avoided landing on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list on Monday, per the league's transaction wire.
Injured players were to report to training camp in Green Bay on Monday. Tom is recovering from offseason knee surgery, while Wyatt is coming back from a significant lower leg injury suffered in late November of last year. It appears both were able to pass a physical, allowing them to participate when the Packers open practice on Wednesday morning.
Both Tom and Wyatt are among the most important players to the 2026 Packers. Tom, the team's best offensive lineman, is one of the NFL's best right tackles. Wyatt, the team's best interior defensive lineman, is a consistent disruptor who can rush the passer when healthy. The Packers need…
