Chelsea legend, Marcel Desailly, has said that France international, Max Lacroix is not an ideal signing for the club, insisting that the team should aim for superior players from clubs that are more accomplished than the Blues.
In an interview with BOYLE Sports, Desailly conveyed his uncertainty regarding Lacroix's ability to enhance the Blues' squad at this moment, emphasizing the necessity for a defender possessing greater experience and leadership qualities, stating:
“Is he truly what Chelsea requires? I genuinely believe they need a centre-back with more experience, someone who is already established and can step in to lead the defense.
“We need a seasoned leader at the core of our defense. Don’t ask me for a name; it is Alonso and the club’s job to find the right player who aligns with his philosophy.
