Premier League powerhouse, Chelsea, are interested in signing Alvaro Carreras from Real Madrid as a replacement for Marc Cucurella.
As per Mundo Deportivo, the Blues are keen on bringing the young Spaniard to Stamford Bridge.
Carreras, who has previously played for Real Madrid at the youth level, returned to his childhood club from Portuguese team Benfica last summer for a reported transfer fee of €50 million. In his inaugural season at the Santiago Bernabeu, he made 40 appearances across all competitions.
Real Madrid recently announced the acquisition of Cucurella from Chelsea for a reported fee of €60 million.
Following his outstanding performances during Spain's victorious campaign in the 2026 World Cup tournament, he is expected to be the undisputed starter under the newly appointed Merengues manager, Jose Mourinho.
