Last season, Tony Rojas was primed for a breakout campaign before a devastating injury cut his season short just four games in. Now, he looks to be one of the defensive leaders as Penn State football enters a new era under new head coach Matt Campbell. During Penn State's Big Ten media day, however, it was another new member of Penn State's staff that earned Rojas' praise: DC D'Anton Lynn .
Despite the fact that this will be Rojas' fourth defensive coordinator in his collegiate career, Rojas feels confident that his relationship with Lynn will pay dividends on the field.
“He’s been great. From a personal level, he’s been amazing,” Rojas said , according to StateCollege.com. “This is the first time I’ve had a personal level of connection with the DC."
