The Washington Commanders will begin training camp on Wednesday. Rookies reported to Ashburn on Friday, with veterans scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. On Saturday, the Commanders announced some roster moves ahead of camp
Cornerback Trey Amos, edge rusher Dorance Armstrong and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. will begin training camp on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.
Amos, the No. 61 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, started at cornerback last season until fracturing his fibula in a Week 10 loss to the Detroit Lions . Armstrong tore his ACL in a Week 7 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, while Wise tore his quad in a Week 2 game at Green Bay. All three defensive starters were lost for the season.
