The road trip is off to a good start. Cal Quantrill went out there and outdueled Griffin Jax, who is a member of the Star Wars Name All Stars. Quantrill had seven strikeouts in the game. Seven! That’s 18% of his season total. He allowed just two hits in 5.1 innings! And just one walk! Yeah, I have a hard time believing it, too. The one time he got into trouble was in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he allowed a one out single to Jonathan Aranda, followed by a Junior Caminero double.
