🎙️ Tebas: FIFA competitions aren't Infantino's property Javier Tebas took aim at Gianni Infantino this Wednesday in a post on X.
The LaLiga president alleges a "suspicion of political interference" over the famous red card shown to Balogun and a request from the U.S. Congress regarding former FIFA members convicted of corruption.
Tebas also points to the distribution of more than $10 billion that FIFA is promising to federations. In his view, "it does not look like a reform; it looks like an election campaign financed with the future of football."
The Spanish executive also recalls that "FIFA’s competitions and commercial rights are not Infantino’s personal property." He adds that "whoever mixes politics, discipline, money and power without transparency cannot lead anything."
Tebas is blunt in his conclusion: "Infantino is not the solution to FIFA governance. He is the problem."…
