On Tuesday, Pittsburgh Steelers players reported to training camp at Saint Vincent College. There is an extra layer of excitement this time around with new head coach Mike McCarthy and the spin he will make on the offense with his old quarterback Aaron Rodgers under center.
The first Steeler to speak to the media on Tuesday was wide receiver DK Metcalf. He was excited about running if back with Rodgers in 2026 and noted the two would be suitemates again this season at Saint Vincent College.
Pittsburgh brought in Metcalf and Rodgers last season to give the offense some punch but nothing went according to plan. After trading away fellow wide receiver George Pickens, there wasn't much left to help out Metcalf and the offense sputtered.
This offseason, the Steelers traded for veteran wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and drafted Germie Bernard to hopefully help Metcalf and Rodgers finish…
