The Congress of Northern Christians of Nigeria (CNCN), Kaduna State chapter, has observed with dismay the continuous killings of innocent people by gunmen in different parts of the country without serious measures taken by the authorities concerned to bring the barbaric experience to its logical conclusion.
“In some instances, many people have had their houses and properties completely destroyed by gunmen, besides the displacement of millions of Nigerians for decades in the country without concrete measures taken by the government to ensure such ugly, devilish, and inhuman behaviour comes to an end,” the CNCN observed in a statement issued by its state chairman, Elder Bulus Dogarawa.
The group explained that it is uncalled for and unthinkable for a number of people, for no reason, to attack people in their sleep, killing them, while others were injured and their houses and property…
