In the PGA Tour’s final visit to Detroit – for now, at least – is the 2026 field for the Rocket Classic its best ever?
The 145-person field for the event – scheduled to run July 30-Aug. 2 at Detroit Golf Club – was announced on Friday, July 24.
This year’s group features four players in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings – Nos. 3, 5, 7 and 9, in Cameron Young, Russell Henley, Chris Gotterup and Wyndham Clark (who won this year’s U.S. Open ) – as well as eight in the top 20. The field has an additional burst of star power in Brooks Koepka, Xander Schauffele and Jordan Spieth , a trio making its Detroit debut.
