Rite Foods Limited says it made significant progress on its environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments in 2025, reporting improvements in waste recovery, emissions reduction, resource efficiency and community investment.
According to the company’s 2025 Sustainability Report, it recovered more than 858 tonnes of post-consumer plastic waste through its partnership with the Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance (FBRA), supporting efforts to promote a circular economy and reduce plastic pollution.
The company also recorded lower greenhouse gas emissions intensity during the year as it pursued greater energy efficiency across its operations. Improvements in production processes and technology contributed to lower energy consumption per litre of beverage produced, while natural gas remained the dominant source of energy in its manufacturing operations.
