Bayer Leverkusen talent Kerim Alajbegovic is reportedly close to joining Italy's Juventus.
German media including Kicker sports magazine and the Bild paper said on Thursday that Leverkusen will receive €30 million ($34.2 million) plus add-ons for the 18-year-old from the Turin club.
Alajbegovic, who played at the recent World Cup for Bosnia-Herzegovina, is to sign a five-year contract at Juve who according to the reports have promised him a role in the starting XI, something that Leverkusen apparently would not guarantee.
Alajbegovic started in the academy of Bundesliga club Cologne in his city of birth before moving to neighbours Leverkusen in 2021. Leverkusen sold him to RB Salzburg last year but made use of a buy-back clause of €8 million.
