T he Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, yesterday, slammed Justice Peter Lifu of the Federal High Court for disobeying its stay of proceedings order on the deregistration of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Accord Party, the Action Alliance (AA), Action Peoples Party (APP) and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
The Appeal Court, while delivering the judgement on the appeal filed by the five political parties and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), described the action of Justice Lifu as “judicial impertinence” and “judicial insubordination.”
