Real Madrid goalkeeper on the verge of joining Sevilla Real Madrid have been focusing on exits in recent weeks, and they are on the verge of sealing another one. La Fabrica talents have regularly been sold in the last few years with a view to keeping control of their futures by the way of buy-back or significant sell-on clauses, and the latest player to fall into this category is Fran Gonzalez.
At 21, Gonzalez has been facing a defining summer in his career. He’s considered too good to play for Castilla, but with Thibaut Courtois and Andriy Lunin ahead of him in the first team pecking order, his chances of significant minutes were very low – and as a result, the decision has been taken for him to leave.
