The Texas Rangers have added a left-handed pitcher with parts of three seasons of Major League experience to the organization.
The southpaw was recently released from his contract in South Korea with the Korea Baseball Organization's SSG Landers.
According to Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News , Anthony Veneziano has signed a minor league deal with the Rangers.
"Texas has liked Veneziano as a depth arm for a while. They signed him to a minor league deal in December," Anthony Franco of MLB Trade Rumors wrote.
"He requested his release three weeks later to pursue an opportunity with the SSG Landers in the Korea Baseball Organization," Franco added.
Veneziano posted a 6.10 ERA in 16 starts with the Landers…
