Kebbi State Police Command has launched a coordinated manhunt for the abductors of a Kebbi State High Court judge, Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza, following his abduction by suspected bandits in Bunza Local Government Area of the state. DAILY POST had earlier reported that the judge was kidnapped after armed men stormed his residence along Zogirma Road in Bunza shortly after he returned from a trip to Sokoto State.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Kebbi State Command, SP Bashir Usman, said the Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Muhammad Hadejia, immediately deployed tactical and intelligence operatives to ensure the judge’s safe rescue.
