The Plateau State Police Command has arrested a fourth suspect in connection with the gruesome killing of 25-year-old Ibrahim Mbaya, as investigators intensify efforts to unravel the circumstances surrounding the murder and apprehend all those involved.
The latest arrest comes just days after the Command announced the detention of three suspects linked to the incident, which sparked widespread outrage across Plateau State and renewed calls for an end to jungle justice.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Alfred Alabo, disclosed that the breakthrough was achieved through sustained intelligence gathering and discreet investigations by operatives of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
