Claimants in the concussion lawsuit include England World Cup winner Steve Thompson - Shaun Botterill/Getty Images Last week Senior Master Cook reserved judgment in the concussion litigation brought by a large group of rugby players against the Rugby Football Union, the Welsh Rugby Union, the Rugby Football League and World Rugby . He will soon give his rulings on various aspects of the litigation, including whether claimants will be struck out of the action for failure to comply with previous orders, some of which were “unless orders” (meaning a penalty will be applied if the order is not followed) for the full disclosure of the claimants’ medical evidence and records.
