The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi and the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential running mate, Rotimi Amaechi, have been spotted together at a public event.
Obi and Amaechi were seen together at the service of songs of Nkechi Stella Rhodes-Vivour, mother of the ADC's governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.
At the service of songs held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Fountain of Life Sanctuary in Ikeja, both top tier politicians were seen engaged in a chit-chat while hugging each other.
Nkechi came into the spotlight during the 2023 election campaign, when she played an active role in mobilising support for her son.
After the election, she alleged widespread vote buying and accused security agencies of failing to apprehend the perpetrators.
