With the Big Ten set to take the media day spotlight this week, the unofficial media preseason poll for the upcoming college football season has been revealed. So what are the expectations for the Penn State Nittany Lions according to members of the media within the Big Ten footprint?
Unlike some conferences, the Big Ten does not organize its own preseason media poll for the annual media days. So, for the past 16 years, Cleveland.com has taken the lead in organizing its unofficial media poll by taking votes from media members from around the conference. As expected, the media is a bit less enthusiastic about Penn State's Big Ten title hopes entering the 2026 season compared to last year.
