Pat Spillane has labelled the roadside sign stunt depicting Jack O'Connor and Andy Moran and a bride and bridesmaid 'stupid'.
The stunt was done down in Kerry ahead of the All-Ireland Final this Sunday as the Kingdom look to go back-to-back and win their 40th Sam Maguire Cup, while Mayo look to end 75 years of hurt.
The sign, which was swiftly taken down a day later, had the caption 'Jack [O’Connor], best of luck on your big day! Andy [Moran]… Always the bridesmaid' along with O'Connor dressed as a bride and Moran his bridesmaid.

It went viral online, with many people seeing the funny side of the gag, but many thought it was a needless jab that will only spark motivation in this Mayo team ahead of Sunday's finale.
