OPay has revealed the technology infrastructure powering its digital payment platform, saying years of investment in engineering, security and payment systems have enabled it to process millions of transactions daily with a 99.9 per cent success rate while positioning the company to serve one billion users globally.
The company disclosed this during its recent Media Parley in Lagos, where executives spoke with media stakeholders about the technology behind its financial services platform.
Rather than focusing on products, OPay said the session aimed to showcase the engineering systems that support digital payments for tens of millions of Nigerians.
