SMU safety Ahmaad Moses | Kirby Lee-Imagn Images Tye New York Giants are working are continuing to tinker with their roster as they get ready to open training camp.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN is reporting that the Giants hosted former SMU safety Ahmaad Moses on Monday. Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 is likewise reporting that the Giants also worked out former Purdue DB Tony Grimes , as a well as veteran CB Sam Webb .
Moses is an undersized safety at 5-foot-9, 192 pounds, but is an explosive athlete who had a 38-inch vertical. He’s regarded as an instinctive playmaker who also has upside on special teams. He went undrafted after the 2026 NFL Draft after an MRI revealed a herniated disc. He had spinal fusion surgery four months ago and was recently cleared.
