1. The Court of Appeal in Abuja has set aside the June 15 judgment of Justice Peter Lifu of the Federal High Court, Abuja, which ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to deregister the African Democratic Congress, ADC and four other political parties for allegedly failing to meet the 25 per cent constitutional threshold for continued existence as political parties.
2. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday directed the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies to intensify operations in Kaduna State to track down those responsible for the attack on Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward of Kauru Local Government Area, secure the release of abducted victims and restore peace and normalcy to the affected communities.
