Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty Images Plaxico Burress lived out the dream of millions to be in the NFL, but he admitted that playing for one NFL team reminded him of his life when he was in jail.
Burress won a Super Bowl with the New York Giants and is considered among the greatest players in the franchise’s history.
However, a one-year stint with the neighboring New York Jets had him feeling the way he did when he was in prison.
Playing for the New York Jets compared to being in jail Burress appeared on ‘The Joint Venture Show,’ hosted by Lil Wayne and Craig Carton, where he described how he felt like a loser when he was in jail, a feeling only comparable to his lone season with the Jets.
