Naz Reid was named among the summer's stock risers in Raphielle Johnson's NBC Sports column published Tuesday morning.
Charlotte traded Miles Bridges too. The move east puts Reid in position to start consistently, Johnson wrote.
Reid has held top-100 fantasy value in recent seasons. Johnson wrote that he should come off the board much earlier this fall.
Reid is entering his eighth NBA season. It will be his first as a full-time starter.
The Charlotte Hornets acquired him from Minnesota on June 25 for LaMelo Ball and Josh Green. Charlotte also received an unprotected 2033 first-round pick, first-round pick swaps in 2028, 2029, and 2030, and second-round picks in 2029, 2032, and 2033.
