A team looking to get anything back on track in the win column needs to have every single part of a lineup working in tandem. The Colorado Rockies are still in last place in the National League West Division, but the team knows that they need a lot more wins.
But the Rockies faced Milwaukee Brewers ' ace Jacob Misiorowski on Sunday at American Family Field. Misiorowski pitched five innings and struck out 12 Colorado batters. While the game was close going into the bottom of the sixth, that didn't keep the Brewers from piling on runs once the Rockies' bullpen came into the game.
Freeland not good at all Colorado starting pitcher Kyle Freeland took the loss, going to 2-10 this season. Freeland worked 5.1 innings, giving up six hits, five earned runs, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one home run.
