Mets outfielder Carson Benge continues to show out during his rookie campaign.

We’ve seen what he can do with the glove, we’ve seen what he can do with the bat, and on Friday night he decided it was time to show off his cannon of an arm.

Benge unleashed two different strikes to gun down Dodgers trying to advance.

The first came when Shohei Ohtani attempted to stretch a double into a triple leading off the top of the fifth, but the youngster made a perfect throw in to Francisco Lindor to start a relay.

Benge cost the Mets by misplaying one of those doinkers down in the Citi Field right-field corner earlier this season, so this time around he knew exactly how to play it.

“I saw it running towards the wall, and I’ve already misplayed one of those,” he said. “So I tried to stay deep on it and then I saw him not slowing down when he was heading to second, so I knew just to throw it…
