Manchester City identify Argentinian goalkeeper as James Trafford replacement Hugo Viana has identified his preferred option to take on Man City’s back-up goalkeeper role with James Trafford headed for Leeds United. Officials at the Etihad Stadium are expected to swoop in on former Etihad shot-stopper Geronimo Rulli of Marseille. A deal could conclude relatively swiftly with the 34-year-old reportedly keen on a move.
Manchester City have identified Argentinian veteran goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli as their preferred option to replace James Trafford as back-up shot-stopper.
Trafford – who returned to the club from Burnley in a deal worth around £28 million last summer – is expected to leave City this summer in a pursuit of improved game time and opportunities at the top of the game.
