The Chicago Bears kicked off training camp on Wednesday, and while it was a lighter workout, second-year wide receiver Luther Burden III was a standout player who continues to garner hype and praise entering 2026.
Burden has been dubbed a potential breakout candidate following an impressive rookie season where he totaled 47 catches on 60 targets for 652 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his impressive potential and making him one of the better wideouts selected in his draft class. And that was in limited action.
During Wednesday's practice, Burden was praised for his route running and speed, and he was targeted often. According to Mark Carman , Burden "got a ton of balls. Inside, outside."
